I have been competing in agility for approximately 10 years. My current young dog in training is overly exuberant and easily distracted. I selected Flying Potatoes to train her at because there is only one dog in the equipment area at a time. This allows for essentially a mini private session with you, your dog and the instructor(s). I found this tremendously beneficial because the instructors are focusing exclusively on you and your dog. ALL staff are extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and supportive. They give fantastic feedback during your time in the training area. They truly want you, and your dog, to be successful, at whatever level of training they’re currently at. I will continue to enroll is classes at Flying Potatoes, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

My dog loves going to agility classes with Churmy! He started out as a very timid dog, and has become a very enthusiastic participant.

They are patient and caring. My girl sometimes gets the zoomies (we are working on it) and because of the one dog at a time in the room she doesn’t have an opportunity to visit others. It helps her and l learn to be a team and depend on each other. Sometimes I think they are as patient with me as with my dog.

Flying Potatoes is a positive environment in which to introduce your dog to agility or to strengthen your pre-existing skills. It is perfect for dogs of all levels. Churmy is very knowledgeable, patient, kind and makes learning fun! The location is great and allows for social distancing and the price is reasonable. 🐶🏆

Churmy Fan, who runs this agility club is a great trainer and our puppy Luna responded to her very well. Luna attended all 3 agility levels with Flying Potatoes during the fall of 2020 and we had so much fun with it. Churmy has organized her classes so that each dog and handler has an entire large bay with the agility equipment to themselves, plus Churmy or one of her assistant trainers in attendance, to help you out. Essentially, it was like private sessions. Her agility classes are so well priced, beats all the other larger training companies out there. Our expectations were exceeded. Thank you to Churmy and her team of trainers.

It’s been amazing to watch our pup blossom through training with Flying Potatoes and I highly recommend them! We first came across Flying Potatoes Agility Club when they held some agility playtime drop in sessions. First off, the name was cute and made me smile. The playtime session was amazing for introducing our pup to the different equipment. Churmy and Carol were there every step of the way, providing instruction and encouragement and support. We have done a number of the play time drop in sessions and have even completed the first 3 programs in the Golden Potato Academy. Churmy provides feedback and helps us course correct during runs and gives recommendations for exercises we can practice at home. With each session, our pup has learned new skills, her focus has sharpened and her confidence has grown. When I think back to when she first started, she would spend a good few minutes trying to get snuggles from Churmy and Carol or getting her zoomies out. These days, she comes in and immediately looks towards me for cues as to what her move should be. We will continue to train with Flying Potatoes, and with Churmy’s guidance, we know we will continue to progress in the Golden Potato Academy! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️recommend!

I was interested in doing a dog sport with my sisters dog and agility classes were just starting so I decided to give it a go. I am so glad I did. Churmy is by far the most knowledgeable and patient trainer I could have ask for. Each time I did a class, I left with a smile on my face, and our dog left with an even bigger one. I highly recommend the Flying Potatoes Agility Club.

Myself and my border collie are having a wonderful time doing agility classes with Flying Potatoes!! My girl has come so far and gained so much confidence. We have both grown together as a team. Classes are all positive re-enforcement based and Churmy is always making sure that the pups are comfortable. I’m very excited that we found Flying Potatoes!

Boyd and I had so much fun being at Flying Potatoes, and we learned so much! The obstacle-specific classes (we took the weave poles) gave us so much to learn and practice, and Churmy gives good pointers on technique and communication between you and your dog.

The drop-in classes are lots of fun and very relaxed for how you choose to run the obstacle course. We can't wait to come back for some more drop-in sessions!

Snickers loves her time at Flying Potatoes drop in agility. It's good to get back to it but Snickers especially loves Churmy. I like learning new ideas and techniques about how to do the equipment/course and get the most out of my dog, taking advantage of Snickers' skills and Churmy's knowledge.

Flying Potatoes Agility is great fun for both me and my dog! The instruction is tailored to our level of expertise, and Churmy continues to create challenges by teaching us new techniques and appliances, as we are ready to take them on. I like that we are the only team in the classroom, and we receive one on one instruction with each turn. This gives us the opportunity to concentrate on the tasks at hand, and not have to worry about the distraction of other dogs while learning. It is also great practice for my dog to learn to wait patiently in the lobby for his next turn, with up to 3 other dog/handler teams. The small class size gives us multiple turns in the classroom each lesson, and supplies the best of both worlds: Learning agility, and how to wait in the presence of other dogs, as any dog sport requires. She is a wonderful, dog trainer with the right experience. My husband and I did go with two of our dogs on Friday for a agility drop in class for the first time. Both of the dogs did not have experience of agility. She didn’t see that as a problem and changed the parcours a bit.

She had a lot of patience, was very clear for human and dog and my dogs learned a lot and we had a blast. We will definitely come back, even we have to almost drive 2 hours one way. Flying potatoes is worth it !

My dogs and I really enjoyed our classes at Flying Potatoes. Great setup, great people, and lots of fun! The instructor offers great advice on helping us problem solve. Best of all, the dogs and I have an awesome time!

Me and my year old puppy Theo had a fantastic experience with Churmy and the Flying Potatoes Agility Club. Both me and my pups had no experience with agility, and she welcomes all levels into the classes. She also adjusted the course so Theo and I could build our skills and have a positive experience. Me and the pups have done 3 skill set courses, and look forward to more in the future.
