Program Overview
At Flying Potatoes, we believe that building confidence is the first step to raising a happy and well-adjusted puppy. From grooming to mental and physical wellness, the UNIQUE curriculum of the Flying Potatoes Puppy Kindergarten wellness program will provide you with vital tools to give your puppy the best possible start to life through fun and engaging confidence-building exercises!
Our comprehensive 6 weeks program provides a safe, positive, and fun environment to socialize your new family members to essential life experiences and set them up for success in their first months home.

Curriculum
Textures
Your puppy will be exposed to a variety of textures that they will come across in everyday life to help build the foundation for a brave and well-adjusted puppy.
Grooming
No matter what breed, every dog needs to be groomed! We will introduce nail trims, the grooming table, and coat and skin care catered to the individual needs of your puppy.
Tastes & Smells
Your puppy will be exposed to a variety of nutritious goodies, and we will also learn how to teach them to avoid items that may be harmful.
Sounds
We will positively expose your puppy to a variety of sounds that they will experience through their lives and help them overcome uncertainty.
Movement
Wobble boards, bouncy cushions, and rolling balls, oh my! We will introduce puppies to items and surfaces that move, and discuss safety concerns to protect your puppy’s growing body.
Body Awareness
Puppies don’t always know where their body parts are! We will discuss fun exercises that you can do with your puppy to help them develop proprioception and strength.

Drop-Ins
Space permitting, we may allow drop-in students on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for drop-in availability.
Registration Requirements
Age: Puppies must be 4 months or younger at the start of week 1.
Prerequisites: No prerequisites necessary.
Vaccinations: Puppies must have received at least 1 set of vaccinations before class starts.
Documents: Up-to-date proof of vaccinations, and signed Liability and Waiver must be submitted through our registration system before class starts.
Others: Instructors must be notified of any behavioural concerns before the start of classes.
